The ORU Golden Eagles were shocked Monday night with the Western Illinois Leathernecks defeated them in an upset victory 54-53.

Terrell Parks of the Leathernecks scored the game-winning shot with eight seconds on the clock. On the ensuing ORU possession, the Leathernecks forced a turnover on a pass from Roderick Pearson Jr. to Michael Craion.

ORU failed to score in the final four minutes of the game and blew an eight point lead over Western Illinois; who was an afterthought coming into the tournament.
