Tree to Become Wood Sculpture in Prayer Gardens

After 37 years in the Prayer Garden, a tree from the original planting has died. According to Tim Philley, Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, the tree was cut down last week. He said there are plans to carve the base of the tree into a sculpture to occupy the spot in the Prayer Gardens. Currently, the wood sculpture is still in the planning stages and a subject has not yet been chosen.
